[Whitehead’s naturalism, therefore, is a weak spot in his philosophy of organism and takes away a good deal from its value. But the greatest weakness that we find in his philosophy is that it is a structure that hangs in mid-air, having neither a foundation nor any roof. Here Sri Aurobindo is in a better position. He has no horror of substance, and does not feel therefore the need of having a double set of principles, one ideal and one actual, to correct their mutual deficiencies.]
