Who said it was a school?
It's a developing and evolving expression of the Divine Being as Humanity, growing and learning through error and self-correction.
The soul consciousness retains the essence of all experience. The mind does not.
Studying some Aurobindo might help you!

It is the love of trees that draws me to nature... where one can experience the expression of the past. I have been fortunate to have lived in #Auroville, where people seeking new ways of living & interacting are drawn together.

I don't know if this will help restore your faith in humanity—mine suffers because of this and other things constantly—but I recently learned about a place called Auroville in India and the more research I do, the more in love I feel. 1/2 Knowing places like that exist gives me hope when I feel like it's easier for today's society to turn its back on others, especially those of us who are more vulnerable.
It's not making anything safer or solving the problem... but there are still people out there who care. 2/2

The creation of what constitutes Auroville has taken fifty years of care and stewardship. The schism is now irreversible. But whichever side "wins" this battle for "development" or "lack" of it, the forest gods have already lost. #auroville

Open for the Foundation, through its Governing Board, to frame fresh regulations in tune with the provision of the Act and the observations of the Court. #Auroville unitedtrueindia.blogspot.com/2024/03/order-…

Someone posted a picture of my favourite science book. I have that very edition. Many of my ideas about cosmic evolution began with Jantsch.

"Whitehead's Panprehensionism: A Feeling For Reality," a dialogue with @TNWJackson
youtu.be/9HD5nS5bJlgIh
Claude 3 Opus’ summary of the transcript, with a few edits by me (video timestamps available on YouTube):
In this detailed conversation, Matt, a philosopher, and Tim, a biologist, delve into various philosophical topics related to perception, consciousness, and the nature of reality, with a particular focus on the ideas of Alfred North Whitehead. The discussion begins with an exploration of Whitehead’s theory of propositions, which attempts to capture the aesthetic functions of propositions beyond just their truth value. Matt explains how this theory is relevant to understanding the concept of “true metaphors.”

Indians support autocratic rule for the same reason their movies have a hero who deals with all the bad guys. They always look for someone to be their nanny and deal with all the problems, leaving them to do nothing. Modi, too, reflects this craving.

State-business nexus is the legacy of imperialism & plagues the entire globe. In India, the nexus took birth the moment East India Company set foot here. Jaati-Varna preempts the problem & keeps political & economic spheres neatly divided. The genius of our Brahmana rishis!
Several instances of vaishyas funding Kshatriya campaigns. But the division of power was clean and final and of course birth-based. A merchant could not *become* the king and vice-versa.
Most politicians worth mentioning have solid business interests and a staggering amount of wealth generated from business investments. Most importantly, the astronomical numbers of material wealth today couldn't have been achieved if JV was still in practice.
It's not a hypothetical question. The answer is in history that it did not survive the attacks. But then it must also be acknowledged that the modern era is just a blip in history.
