Thank you for polite and reasoned argument. I am generally impatient on this topic because I am upset at the level of distortion western scholars have done to anything related to our history and indology. As a result, my tone in this discussion wasn't the best and I am sorry about it.
It's Ok to not continue the debate now as you have not studied both sides. I did over 20 years ago and as a result decolonised myself. Will write a thread about why western linguists and their methodology is wrong when it comes to India.
It's not that they are doing a conspiracy (most of them are honorable and intelligent researchers) but they are arriving at blatantly wrong conclusions because they are not understanding India the way India is due to their inherent biases.

It doesn't matter what you do as a Hindu. Truth does not need your validation. Tibetan lineage knows worship of Tara far better than Indian tradition and benefit from it. Even our Tantras say that Rishi Vashishta learnt Tara sadhana in Tibet.
