To be a historian, you need more than reading old texts and ranting on podcasts. You need formal training in the historical method: source criticism, archival research, theoretical frameworks, contextual understanding, and language proficiency. He has none.

History is a discipline — not a passion project. You don’t become a historian by speaking confidently or quoting ancient texts in Sanskrit. You become one by learning how to handle evidence, to question narratives, and to contextualize every claim. He does none of that.

Sai Deepak speaks with courtroom bravado, but his arguments follow a pattern: select a conclusion first, then reverse-engineer some sources (often mistranslated or decontextualized) to justify it. That’s not historical reasoning — it’s confirmation bias with citations.

Historians don’t just write books — they subject themselves to peer review. They defend their work in front of experts. They face critique from people who’ve spent decades in the field. Sai Deepak avoids all that because he knows he wouldn’t last five minutes in real academia.

This is stupid credentialist nonsense. Debate Sai Deepak if you have the IQ. Sai Deepak makes the compelling argument that leftist agenda driven historians have systematically lied about our history and his argument must be debated on its merits.

People who flaunt paper credentials like a shield are useless. I will never bow to anyone's academic credentials nor will I ever flaunt mine.

14. Observe the West. It has lessons for us. The choice is not binary between wealth creation and spirituality. There is a reason we believe in Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha, in that order. We need Savarkar and Shri Aurobindo to deal with the world while holding on to Dharma.

Edward Gibbon was a lawyer. His The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire is canonical. Closer home, Ram Guha is, by training, a sociologist. One could go on and on, but suffice it to say - this is a foolish barb.

You know that strange split second when your brain insists something is real, even as another part of you whispers, “Wait… that can’t be right”? That’s the magic of illusions. They’re not glitches in your eyes. They’re features of how your brain builds reality.

Every second, your brain is taking in messy, incomplete data from your senses and turning it into a clean, usable story about the world. Illusions work because that story is an educated guess.

Most of the time, it’s a brilliant one. Occasionally, it gets fooled. And when it does, we get that eerie, fascinating moment where perception and reality part ways.
