In practice as in theory, Barthes embodied the amateur: writing not from above, but from within messy, lived engagement, chasing pleasure, taste, and embodied understanding. He wrote that the true amateur experiences an intimacy between body and art—a closeness born from deep immersion, not from ownership. This desire to touch, to assimilate and transform, without capturing or finalizing, is the heart of rehearsal.

Pretty sure BJP has been propped up by the US to balkanize India. Their propaganda is eeriely similar to the Iraq-Afghanistan Islamophobic stuff since 2010, but possibly earlier. That was when I noticed. Ever since Modi came into power, it has all been about undermining institutions, dividing Indians, alienating states... decimating the unity that holds a very disparate population together.
