Buddhists have never agreed on an overall metaphysics. They have long agreed that prajñā – accurately seeing things according to the ultimate truth – is hugely important, but they differ greatly on what that ultimate truth is. The Theravāda Abhidhamma view says everything is ultimately reducible to smaller parts; the Madhyamaka says it's ultimately just emptiness; the Yogācāra says it's all mind; Chinese Huayan and Tiantai views have their own trippy takes.

Et votre "vision catholique" pose sans doute un certain nombre de problèmes résolus par la spiritualité indienne, ou plus sûrement encore, par Sri Aurobindo lui-même. Car bon sang, après 2000 ans de Christianisme, et de religions diverses et variées... quel est le résultat pour la terre ! ! ! Regardez dans quel état nous sommes collectivement.
Comme si le catholicisme ne posait pas de problèmes théologiques. En tout cas, s'il vous suffit d'être catholique, j'en suis heureux pour vous, mais cette vision de me convient pas car elle sous entend que si on ne l'est pas, point de salut... ce qui est un mensonge éhonté, que nous avons entendu des millions de fois.
Je me reconnais davantage dans la spiritualité proposée par Sri Aurobindo, plus ouverte, non religieuse, car par exemple, il explique qu'aucune Écriture à elle seule ne contient toute la vérité, et que si nous faisons l'expérience du Krishna intérieur, encore faut-il aussi que le Bouddha intérieur et le Christ intérieur soit des réalités vivantes pour nous.
Ceci dit, mettre des étiquettes sur cette Présence divine dans notre cœur me paraît suspect, cela ressemble à de la récupération religieuse d'un fait spirituel univ ersel.
