Perhaps they talked about things to drive awareness and to put their force behind their transformation. Nature's evolution is a giant machinery which happens on its own. They were more interested in our conscious evolution. Atleast that's what I think.

The best thing I like about Hinduism is that it allows me to debate its beliefs without any mortal fear. But this can also mean there was no actual religion to begin with. You can only question someone for trespassing if you have proper ownership deeds in the first place.

It can also mean that it evolved, sometimes naturally, sometimes by design,in different ways and with different ideas ! It was never a single entity like our nation itself ! That's a part of the greatness and a part of the problem !

M. M. Kalburugi, Gauri Lankesh, Narendra Dabholkar would beg to disagree if they were around!
What sand do you bury your head in!??!?
There's NO Hinduism without Brahminism & associated religiosity. In entire history of Hinduism the closest anyone has come to elevate Hinduism to a philosophy is Sri Aurobindo. Verdict is still out of how that's turning out! Everyone else just ended up creating a new religion!

[In 1996 Abram coined the phrase "the more-than-human world" as a way of referring to earthly nature (introducing it in the subtitle of The Spell of the Sensuous and throughout the text of that book); the term was gradually adopted by other scholars, theorists, and activists, and has become a key phrase within the lingua franca of the broad ecological movement. In recent writings, Abram sometimes refers to the more-than-human world as "the commonwealth of breath."] - Wikipedia
