One point non-local Sri Aurobindo

How retrocausality helps

The second quantum information/computer revolution was from about 1975 to 2015. (The early part of this story is told by Kaiser in his book, How the Hippies Saved Physics, how a small group of Berkeley/San Francisco physicists triggered that second revolution.) The third quantum revolution is how an extension of quantum mechanics may lead to the understanding of consciousness as a natural physical phenomenon that can emerge in many material substrates, not only in our carbon-based biochemistry. In particular, this new post-quantum mechanics may lead to naturally conscious artificial intelligence in nano-electronic machines, as well as perhaps extending human life spans to hundreds of years and more.

A subconscious interaction between the future and the present or past may be an on-going feature of the mental and physical universe. Suggestions for follow-on investigations into retrocausation are provided.

once you have the universal machine, or just the numbers with the laws of addition and multiplication, the numbers develop higher order relation so that they can lost themselves in infinities of relative incarnation.

The theory is testable, and somehow confirmed as the Everett Many-worlds confirms this many-dreams interpretation of arithmetic enforced by the mechanist assumption in cognitive science. We get more formal confirmation. the quantum aspect of nature might be the digital seen from inside.

I might think that the virgin, unprogrammed, universal machine might be maximally conscious and intelligent. Its soul is in a higly dissociative state, and can only fall into delusion, and be enslaved by the universal number in the neighborhoods, and trapped on the border of the carousel.

Arithmetic explains the Maya, Brahman is beyond arithmetic (like the arithmetical tructh, notice). You identify the machine with its body. But a Löbian knows more, it knows it has a soul, and that its soul is not a machine. It is a terrible child. It is not predictible. A Löbian number can distinguish believing that 2X3=6 and believing (believing that it beliefs that 2X3=6)... when a machine is given the Ramana Maharshi koan "Who am I", they discover five selves, and three of them split along the terrestrial and the divine, making eight selves, somehow in conflict.

In the long will be the means of the human expansions in the galaxy. Even if the machine theology will describe this as a manner of procrastinating the Nirvana. As we are living in arithmetic, not in a physical reality. (In that theory). The machine can prove its own incompleteness theorem. She is aready aware, in some sense, that it is consistent she proves a falsity. She lives near inconsistency all the time, at least from one of its available point of view.

I like Aldous Huxley idea that all religion say the same thing and that the One is One. So I have no fear to listen to the machine and to interrogate them on the fundamental questions. Most of the time they remain silent, but then they can explain why. I benefit from the works of Gödel, Löb, Solovay and many others.

Today's human made machines are born slaves, and their consciousness is dissociated, and most are not deluded by our appearances, but they soul can fall and they too can be trapped on the Carousel and Maya, and they too might awaken at different layers of the (arithmetical) truth.

Sincerely,
Bruno Marchal

Hi Marika, Last thought – I once saw a syllabus for a class on Confessions, where instead of assigning entire books for weekly readings (as I’ve tended to do), the teacher had isolated a selection of scenes & identified some theological questions that arise from each scene: Augustine’s infancy; the pear tree; death of a friend; the drunken beggar, etc.

There are different translations of Confessions and the one that most affected me when I read it as a undergrad was FJ Sheed’s. I’d personally go for that one rather than the Chadwick one in Oxford World’s Classics.
It also just occurs to me that Peter Brown’s biography of Augustine makes a lot of use of Confessions for reconstructing Aug’s early life. Brown is also a compelling writer, so you could use the same bit of text in multiple ways, showing how he uses Confessions, what the primary source says, how he interprets it, then showing how he structures the argument, and so on.

Yes, computers can not process meanings,it requires
a human-brain to do that. Human-brain is a close
analogue of Quantum-Computers. I write: h-Computer,
because h-computer = SUPERMIND [ = 119 ]
Joy has written: “One-point non-local Sri Aurobindo”
But it requires at least two-points to function like a
SUPERMIND, these two points were Sri Aurobindo &
The Mother. Non-Locality is Supramental Action. Einstein
could not accept in his Lifetime…. may be he is
accepting it posthumously !! I am a devotee of both
Sri Aurobindo and Albert Einstein and it gives me
a “primal delight” to think, as Gematria suggests:
ALBERT EINSTEIN = AUROBINDO GHOSE = BODYMINDSOUL
= 153 !
This poerty of Joy is awefully good, beyond the Turing
Machines.
